Entry 1 3-14-07
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
I have done many projects in my science and social studies classes. 2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Research is searching for information on a certain subject or looking for an answer 3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
In 6th grade I had to do a Wild Wild West project and my group didn't work very well and we got a bad grade. It was a very negative experience because it stressed our group out and we didn't know our lines for our play. Teacher Response 3-15-07

Entry 5 3-16-07 1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas? I found it easy because I am doing my project on one single person and not an event. The pre-notetaking sheet helped me because it helped me structure my base to begin my research. Teacher Response 3-21-07
